Yes, the brilliance of 2004′s Mean Girlshas to do a lot with Tina Fey’s masterful writing and the performances of the film’s talented cast — including Lindsay Lohan, Amy Poehler, Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan and Amanda Seyfried. But Fey’s script was also based in part on Rosalind Wiseman’s “Queen Bees and Wannabes,” a non-fiction book that helped its readers deal with the horrid realities of…
As anyone who’s been on the Internet recently is aware, the beloved high school comedy’s 10th anniversary is next month. And, according to Lohan, when she was backstage with Tina Fey before Fallon’s first Tonight Show, the two spoke about doing some kind of reunion. Viral-happy Fallon instantly volunteered to host the shindig on his show. So fetch.
"Yesterday I spent an hour on the phone with President Putin. It did not go well. I told him one country cannot violate international law by invading another country. He spent the rest of the hour pretending to sneeze while loudly coughing ‘IRAQ!’."
if i ever met satan the first thing i would say is “did it hurt…when you fell from heaven??” It would be hilarious. The next thing I would do is probably burst into flame and get impaled dozens of times but it would still be hilarious
there’s nowhere to sing without bothering people when you’re at college
looking forward to college this September, but then i saw this and now i kinda don’t want it….
save yourself while you can
go sing in the mountains and become a nun to support yourself
Oh my god, I’ll be in college in September, I hadn’t even thought of this.
My dorm has a tiny music room, but it’s right by all the other communal stuff and it isn’t soundproof, so it doesn’t do much good. :-(
If possible, never live on a college campus. They will charge you criminally for sub-standard space and living conditions.
^^seconding this. Went straight for the apartments when I came to Purdue, because cheaper but higher-quality living, picking my own damn roommate(s), keeping my cat, and not living in a 10x10 box with cockroaches, lice, paper walls and some jackass I can’t stand.
Just find somewhere near campus (avoid the complexes literally right off-campus, because though cheap, these will be as shitty as dorms will be). If you don’t wanna do your own cooking, you can still probably purchase some kind of meal plan for the campus cafeterias and eat there.
My college requires you to live on campus or with your parents for the first two years, but it’s ok because I live in a super nice dorm (it used to be a hotel). I was in a quad last year and our room was the size of a classroom. The prices are still too high, though, I agree. Just tour a dorm before choosing a college.
