probably playing with Lin wasn’t always that fun…but, everything for the little ‘princess’:D
pretty much based on what I used to do when I was little.
We all know Lin would love to boss people around.. and we all know where she got this from;)
What I wouldn’t give for ‘older’ Gaang interactions in Season 2 of LOK.
Katara can I just hug you. Just. Face. And Jinora you’re precious, peeking from behind Tenzin n’ such. Aww.
but look at Lin. Look at her. Look how utterly defeated she is. she can’t even watch Korra leave. Everyone else can, but Lin can’t. Her whole world is crashing down around her. She couldn’t protect anyone. She couldn’t protect her metal benders, her city, the airbenders, Korra. She must have felt like she failed so much, and that she lost her bending for nothing.
And no one is helping her because they are all so concerned for Korra that they’ve forgotten that Lin is is pain, too. That Lin lost her bending, that she had been prepared to die for the airbenders. And she’s there, and even though she’s surrounded by people, she’s all alone.
she probably wants Katara, who is the closest thing to a mother she has left, to hold her but she can’t ask that because Korra’s pain is more important than hers. because she would feel like asking for comfort would be selfish. because she doesn’t know how to do anything for herself because her whole life has been about giving herself for others, putting herself last.
God, this one scene just rips me to pieces.
Can someone just give her a hug? Can someone just think about Lin for once? can she come first to someone?
